Ban This!

“Ban This”, one of many seminal Powell Peralta skate videos, not only had awesome footage of Ray Barbee, Steve Caballero, and Mike McGill but it also featured these crazy sonic collage pieces made by a never to be heard from again Michael Cook. Heavily influenced by Double Dee & Steinski with less precision and more of the rough charm of something a high school kid would make with two cassette decks, this is the coolest skate vid music ever! I also need to mention that Paul Devro brought this to my attention by ripping these mp3s directly from VHS. So awesome!
